Hi Dan!
Hmmm.... Very nice... But aren't you guys all about OpenSource??? I once did a similar thing for an all javascript textarea php-editor, so I thought I would take a look at the source for this little feat. but to my big surprise - oh no - no looky here... all scrambled was the .js file... Now I know I can find descriptions on how to decode it, but I thought you might have some greater reasoning for scrambling it... And I'd really like to hear it ;o)
The only reason is the size of the JS file, that why it is "scrambled". We try to reduce its size to the maximum to make it load faster. Nothing wrong here and no closed-source stuff.
Mehdi wanted to say, that we tried to reduce the size to the minimum IMHO :) BTW there are open source code beautifiers, in which you can load the JS, and beatufiy the effective code part. The long cryptic string is just the list of functions compressed. Goba
