Starting from the last question, we have considered Borges (from Mandrakesoft), but found out that it is so different from our current system that it is not feasable to implement now... We have this custom system developed for our needs and constantly adding more and more custom code to it... We offer no packaged version of the system, though it is not too had to reuse it, especially that we have a howto for those working with the system which provides a lot of details in case you are already familiar with some unix-like system.
