Hi Sean!
I'm a new user to php and spent quite a bit of time figuring out how to get the function imagecreatefrompng() defined. I found on a forum though google, that it lived in the php_gd.dll library. My note is it would be nice if in the documentation on php.net it would tell you which module the function belonged to or if it is built in. The docs do not mention this. Just would have saved me a bit of time ramping up on php.PHP has a lot of functions, more the three thousand are documented in the manual. We are not including all relevant information on all of these function pages, but expect some intelligence from our readers instead. The function you mention is in the "Image" functions category. On the frontpage of that category [1] there is an Installation section, which details the installation of the GD modules for Windows and Unix systems. It also provides details for GD1 and GD2 respectively. I doubt that we are not providing enough information... [1] http://php.net/image I wish you a good time reading our manual! :) Gabor Hojtsy
