phpRemoteview

Dear webmaster, I don't know if you have heard about phpRemoteview, it's a little script that allows a user to surf a hosts files. The script also allows the user to edit / delete / bug the owners files on an unsecure server. I'm having problems with this script, my site has been defaced on a number of occations due to a hacker. I'm not up on .htaccess or php.ini files so my problem being is that I have no idea how to kill this script. I could kill all PHP activity on the server but then I have people who use PHP to run message boards etc... If possible please could you e-mail me back on a way to protect my folders from being viewed by the script. I also can't run PHP Safe mode due to my hosting company not supporting it.
