News Proposal

Hello Everyone! We are very close to the official announcement of the second PHP Marathon (kindly sponsored by Zend Technologies). The PHP Marathon is a synchronous online coding competition meant to be training and why not, social event for PHP developers. More information are available on the beta page at http://www.dotgeek.org/beta/indexmar.php We should have the new site live by tomorrow, I would welcome your comments on the possibility to publish a news about the event on the php.net homepage. For your information, the new dotgeek will offer a 20MB/PHP 5/PostgreSQL/email free hosting for PHP Developers (there is no advanced hosting package, hosting is totally free for our members, and is not a business or something) Articles, PEAR news, forums and professional tutorials written by our staff. The user tutorials/certification system (now officially discontinued) will be moved to old.dotgeek.org Thanking you in advance for your time, support and attention I look forward your comments, Best Wishes David Costa
