Example: Pay me $2000.00, and Iâ?Tll make sure your store doesnâ?Tt get destroyed. (The catch isâ?¦ if you donâ?Tt pay, Iâ?Tll get someone to destroy it for meâ?¦ if you had paid, it would have been â?oprotectedâ? by me) An idea of using this in game terms would be ownership of a business, by a player, which makes a profit. But, other people can make money by extorting you $10 for every $100 you make. You can never lose more than 40% of your daily profits. In retaliation, you can extort someone back, if they own property. Orâ?¦ as a defense, you can hire goons to defend the property you own. For every goon you have hired for protection to a max of 20, they will defend 2% of your assets. But, will cost 1% of your profits to do so. Basically, youâ?Tre losing a %, no matter what, but thatâ?Ts better than losing up to 40% daily, without the hired goons. This idea will work, because itâ?Tll make people protect their businesses, and cost them money doing so. Each goon will cost $1000 each (first 5), then $5,000 each (6-10), then $20,000 each (11-15) then $50,000 each (16-20). Plus, they will cost 2% of the businessâ?Ts revenue for each day, up to a maximum of 40% of the daily revenue (maximum 20 goons x 2% = 40%). Total cost for all 20 goons will be $380,000. This money (initial purchase, and daily 2% each goon) can never be recovered, and will always cost the owner. This will keep people from accumulating mass amounts of wealth, without any way of losing it. The only way to stop this loss of wealth is to take a goon off the payroll (-2% each goon), or sell the business completely. Once the business is sold, the goons are automatically taken off the payroll. Ideas of businesses to be owned are: - Gun store - Hunting / fishing stores - candy / toy store - butcher shop - tool store - automotive parts store - garage - general grocery store - speakeasy (night club) - garbage collection company - union office - political office - police precinct - billiards hall - movie theatre - camera store - pet store - ice cream store - brothel - hair salon / barber shop - restaurant
