assistance

My server "godaddy.ocm" has been giving no support or resolution with my needs. I have downloaded over 60 programs i.e. banner exchange-affiliate program and auction software that was free downloads. After way to many attempts and over 25 phone calls I was finally told that my linux server is in safe mode not allowing me to use these programs and that was the reason why i was getting Sbox errors and was told I would have to search for these applications that will work in safe mode. I have come up empty handed. If there is a php angel out there that can direct me to some light I would be grateful. isnt there anyone out there anymore who remembers the term in need of a helping hand? Rhett
