Reporting Abuse.

Please forward this message to the appropriate place for action to be taken. I need to know who to contact regarding discriminating actions taken by a moderator of a forum ran by PHP. I'm considering filing a discriminatory suit, but I would this be settled in a less intrusive manner. I was banned from the http://mindlessselfindulgence.com/board/ for the following reasons... 1. Using homophobic, or "hate" speech. The moderator contacted me on AIM, informing me of the ban, and then began to harass me once I began asking why (and was never given a detailed explanation). However, the band who supports the forum, Mindless Self Indulgence, is known to be a somewhat androgynous band, with songs littered with lyrics talking about homosexuality. On a daily basis the word "Fag" or "Faggot" gets used NUMEROUS times, (The band in question also has a song entitled "Faggot".) This banning happened following a conversation on the forum regarding a member who used malicious coding to use a loophole in a Livejournal (www.livejournal.com) without the owners permission. The Moderator in question made a post degrading me, and I responded saying that I would respond, but I feared being banned by speaking my mind to a moderator...Their response was that they WOULD NOT BAN ME for responding. So I responded, and was banned. I am INCREDIBLY upset by the fact that I would be banned for something that occurs on a normal basis by numerous patrons of the board, and also after being told I would NOT be banned for expressing my opinion. This forum has already come under fire numerous times for people posting pornography and other activities. Please forward this message to the appropriate place for action to be taken.
