I am just wondering why our mirror, nz.php.net, is no longer listed on
the mirrors page at http://www.php.net/mirrors.php ?
We have some technical problems with the mirror site checking and some mirrors randomly get disabled due to this. The system operators are working on fixing the issue.
Also, have you considered making www.php.net redirect the user to a
mirror in his/her country automatically? I suspect a lot of people use
that site without realising that local mirrors are available.
We do redirect to mirror sites automatically on
- any download initiation
- any search operation (including URL shortcuts)
