Please just feed me what I ask for: I say www.php.net and just want English. Computers thinking for you, that's exactly the point where you don't want them to go. People visiting this site are smart enough to make their own choices. Coincidentally the mirror you bounce me to (somewhere in the Netherlands I presume) had some misconfiguration a few weeks ago giving just errors. Then I say www.php.net and your stupid 'smart' script bounces me back where I DON'T want to be. Please don't become Microsoft. Register Globals was a mistake but I'll forgive. Trying to think for me I will not. Besides the fact that the systems thinks I'm a german, the (Dutch) translations are generally of very poor quality. I have to translate back to english to understand what it's telling me. Please get rid of this system and make a flashy button: 'View php.net in Dutch' when detecting I'm =probably= Dutch. Here's the output of the php.net/my thing: --------- My PHP.net This page allows you to customize the PHP.net site to some degree to your own liking.
