Sorry, I am new to web administration. Not so much UNIX/Linux stuff just web admin work. I need to ask questions and find out info about what I can do and need to do based on solving a problem requiring PHP. Basically I have an OLD server that was running PHP3 and PHP4 (I THINK simultaneously) and I don't know if I can JUST install PHP4 and get away with that in the case I may have php3 coded scripts. Like I said I don't know where to begin. Where to enter my questions (I am also a little new to mailing lists), how to find out if PHP4 is backwards compatible with PHP3, etc... Can you please get back to me ASAP so that I can get this ball rolling.
