I have just tested our site with Opera 7.50, Firefox 1.0 and Mozilla
1.6, and all display our favicon perfectly.

The favicon used on php.net is invalid and is originally a .bmp-file
with a .ico file extension. E.g. Opera and Firefox have problems with
invalid favicons and cannot display them.
