please take a look first at my post from (omikorn at php .net; it should be on

In the line SET PASSWORD FOR user@localhost = OLD_PASSWORD('password;);"
it should be SET PASSWORD FOR user@localhost = OLD_PASSWORD('password');
Also I would like to mention the enviroment where i encountered this error: php 4.3.9 for windows
mysql server/client 4.1
I am terrible sorry for this mistake, it was 4 am when i posted it.
