Re: Second italian mirror site disappeared

Hi Fulvio,

Hi, I'm the maintainer for it.php.net. I noted that my site is now overcharged in conseguence of beeing the unique italian mirror. Why it2.php.net disappeared ? It's not possible to accept another mirror ? I'm happy and proud to continue to host the mirror, but the growing popularity of php asks that also the number of mirrors should increase. My organization if made by myself, I can't afford more expenses for increasing band .... can't you accept a second mirror as several times has been offered ?

Well, the http://it2.php.net/ site disappeared around august, and I don't know why. We sent out weekly reminders to the admin that there is some error on the mirror... We are open to replace that mirror of course if someone comes around, but I have not seen a candidate recently. Happy holidays, Gabor Hojtsy
