Hi Gabor, It has been several months since we last "spoke" via e-mail. I wanted to let you know what has been going on with the ThoutReaderT. Perhaps the most significant change is that the ThoutReaderT has been re-licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) Version 2, June 1991, ensuring broader acceptance and future development of the project. We are now in FULL compliance with OSI standards. Feedback from the PHP community influenced this decision and I must say we really feel good about it. As you can see from the following link, MySQL has adopted the ThoutReaderT format for their documentation: http://solutions.mysql.com/news/release_754.html. The documentation is actually on www.osoft.com linked from http://dev.mysql.com/doc/. When this announcement came out to MySQL Newsletter recipients, it was interesting to note that we had more PHP documentation downloads than we had MySQL documentation downloads. The ability to browse, search, bookmark, and append not only the PHP documentation but also related books at the same time, offline, is an awesome capability that adds convenience and saves time. MySQL choose this linking arrangement because they did not have time to maintain their documentation in another format. PHP is in a similar situation. OSoft handles it all. You mentioned below that there was a possibility that we might be able to link to PHP's documentation page in a manner that is similar to MySQL. We would like to be able to do that as your documentation has already been parsed and seems to have a pretty strong demand. Please let me know what I might need to do to make this happen. Once again, I thank you for your help. Best wishes, Mark Mark D.
