I am not really trying to be a pest however is there anyone there who would like to put securing php> mysql or other security matters on the index.php any link to that effect might save a lot of grief for many web developers it seems like a grievous omission to me a couple of pointers in the faq as to how to code against exploits of the two or three types fairly easily guarded against. I had to start looking into phpBB website (and I don't even intend to run a BB)to get any information at all on this subject is it deemed too arcane or what. I realize a nice do everything for you type of mentality exists around some products (not especially php) but this is just as easy to do from the developers side possibly easier and information is always good. I just think it would be better to be involved than to constantly hear of exploits which might have been avoided. thanks alan donaly
