Hello, I seek a function which divides one given chain into a table of under-chains by using a separator of variable (undefined) size, in order to emulate the function SCANF of the language C. I looked on your site the Split, spliti, preg_split, explode functions. ex: array Split (string pattern, string string [, int limit ]) typically, which interests me , can one specify: string pattern = 1 or several (an undefined number of) consecutive characters "SPACES" ? in the Split function or another...
