Hi Andrei,
You just explained below, why there is no point in implementing the
idea: there are too many factors to consider. It has nothing to tell to
anyone not on the exact same setup, with the exact parameters. The
solution is to grab some profiling tool (there are free ones out there)
and profile your own code. Some functions might have exponential
performance differences when changing parameters, some might have
linear. Single numbers for specific platforms say absolutely nothing.
