Hello again, My mirror is (almost) ready. Server Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Name: Richard Holland Email: admin@yandros.net, sythe@sythe.org and sythe@eftel.net.au I do not understand what you are asking me to do with respect to the cname. Below is the virtualhost block I have setup for my server: <VirtualHost 203.142.1.160> ServerAlias www.my.php.net ServerAdmin webmaster@php.yandros.net DocumentRoot /home/php/public_html BytesLog domlogs/php.yandros.net-bytes_log ServerName my.php.net php_value include_path .:/home/php/public_html/include php_flag register_globals on DirectoryIndex index.php index.html Options -Indexes -MultiViews ErrorDocument 401 /error.php ErrorDocument 403 /error.php ErrorDocument 404 /error.php AddType application/octet-stream .chm .bz2 .tgz AddType application/x-pilot .prc .pdb SetEnv MIRROR_LANGUAGE "en" <IfModule mod_speling.c> CheckSpelling Off </IfModule> User php Group php CustomLog /usr/local/apache/domlogs/php.yandros.net combined ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /home/php/public_html/cgi-bin/ </VirtualHost> (I need more specific instructions about the cname thing...) The mirror is on its own ip: 203.142.1.160 As I am the host the footer url can be 'http://www.yandros.net' with the text 'Yandros Enterprises' Thanks and I am truely sorry about not understanding the cname thing. Please send me back instructions if it is an issue. Thank you. Gabor Hojtsy wrote:
Hi,
I sent you an email yesterday requesting to become an official php.net mirror. http://php.yandros.net is now fully setup. That is to say I've modified my httpd.conf as per the mirroring.php page requested and I've setup a cronjob to rsync every hour. I feel the mirror is now fully operational and worthy of becoming an official mirror. As I pointed out in my last email you currently only have one official Malaysian mirror and I would like to become the second. The server is hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by Shinjiru Webpage Center.
Note that you have an Apache manual still in place: http://php.yandros.net/manual/ Otherwise your mirror seems fine to me. Use the (www.)my.php.net domain to set up the vhost as suggsted on the mirroring page, and then come back to us with the details requested there. Regards, Gabor Hojtsy
