I find a lot of your function definitions so brief they are less than helpful. For example, I was looking for a function to do a link to another page without waiting for the user to click on something. I found a function called "link" that says it creates a "hard link". So what the **** is a hard link? Can't you put more than four words so some of us can figure out what you're talking about? There must be a better on-line source for PHP reference - can you direct me someplace else? Sorry if I'm impolite, but I am tired of taking hours of experimentation to see what a function really does. Ron Z
