There are surely a lot of happenings of interest for PHP programmers, just look around the different news sites, like phpdeveloper.org or the International PHP Magazine news section. The role of the PHP.net homepage is however to concentrate on the language and directly related news. I think the php.net homepage itself pretty well shows what we publish. Regards, Gabor Hojtsy
