Re: help!

We simply wrote the language used to write the software for whatever site you are talking about. We have no connection with these people in any way. It would be a bit like you contacting Ford about someone who hit you with their Mustang. We provide the tools, but we have no control over what people do with them. -Rasmus rachel black wrote:

I see that the storywritingcontest.com website is powered by you, and there is no one on that site to contact, so I am contacting you guys. I was contacted in early April for winning the short story contest for my story "Night Swimming" and was promised $50 in an email from the site administrator, John Ashley. After me giving my personal information and signing up and all this stuff, I never received the check, and when I went back to check the site it was completely different and my story was nowhere to be found. I tried emailing John at the address he emailed me at, but they never went through because the email did not exist anymore. I am frustrated and angry that I have been scammed this whole time, and there is NO ONE AT ALL to get into contact with for this. I would like the money I was entitled to, as I was voted by registered users of the original site as the winner, so I deserve the prize. I don't like my information out there like that and it's extremely sketchy that none of the original site or people have been in contact with me. If it's a scam, the site should be taken off the internet and people should NOT be entering their work with the hopes of winning anything. Please help me, or at least direct me to someone who knows how to help me because this is completely unfair and I am at my wit's end with this whole thing. Thank you for any help. ~Rachel Black~ p.s. I have all the original emails for winning from John Ashley as proof if needed. Thanks. _________________________________________________________________ On the road to retirement?
