We have nothing to do with any irc channel. Mark Smith wrote:
Last night on the Freenode IRC channel I asked a question upon which I was banned (without a warning) for "we don't need that here", by "Wolfpaws". I found the way in which he then decided to ban my IP. After a while I was going to go back and say sorry for asking a question and I will never ask a question again, I was kicked twice. After that I tried again this morning and I now have found that NONE of Bigponds Dynamic IPs work. Now I am sure Bigpond would be happy to hear about this but I decided before going straight up there to come down a small step to you peoples. The question I asked was after being told that someone would hack that code in a minute I said "What would make that so?", a non-offensive question. Now my question is is do we really need someone like that doing stuff like that to discredit PHP. Just because someone asks how to improve their PHP coding is no reason to ban the whole ISP. I thought that is what ##php was all about, sharing ideas, helping peoples and helping people improve their coding. Have a think about this Mark Smith "mrtechguy"
