Event #2305: New Paradigm for Working Web Dev

Date: 2006-10-12 Country: CAN Category: User Group Event URL: http://vancouver.php.net/node/357 Greg Dean is a Vancouver web-developer that has spent over a year researching and developing a legal model of incorporating co-ops that will stand as competitive with corporations' share structures. Every working member of the ICT/OS Co-op will be able to enjoy tax benefits while investing in businesses that will free our time. There is a particular community bend to our mandate requiring us to build business' that will imbue Open Source modes of production in society. This is to be a broad campaign that will popularize participatory economics and garner large and loyal markets to it. This co-op will treat members like employees with all the benefits of management. The incorporation's rules allow for direct democracy and constant, networked input and decision making. After dedicated and consistent studying in law libraries Greg hopes you will join him so we can transform the hard work of reading laws to allow direct democracy legally into the great work of enacting it actually. -- https://master.php.net/manage/event.php?id=2305&action=approve https://master.php.net/manage/event.php?id=2305&action=reject https://master.php.net/manage/event.php?id=2305
