Hi, my name is Grenville Tryon. I´d developed a php program and want to protect it via a copyright. a) I looked on the site and the closest issue was the page: http://www.php.net/license/ Q. What does the PHP license mean then, in simple words? A. (Note: This answer should in no way be taken to replace the PHP license, it is intended to give you a general impression of what the license means.) Essentially, the PHP license gives you the right to use, distribute and modify PHP as much as you want, for both commercial and non-commercial use. You just have to make it clear to the user that what you have distributed contains PHP. b) On the http://www.php.net/license/3_01.txt, not a line about copyright. I will not distribute the source/binary php code. My question is: Looks like I only need to notice that my sw was made with php. I dont need to pay you nothing? Wherever be the answerm Dont you think it must be contained in your FAQ in an explicity way (the first or second place to look about the use of php)? FAQ: It is possible to copyright a program made with php? Yes/No. You (<a href='link'>need</a>)/(dont need) to pay if you want to copyright a derived software made with php. Some explicit link about it? Txs, Grenville Francis Tryon Pera
