Suggestion For PHP versions 3-5

I was thinking about maybe a update for the directory system since it tends to make us work harder to do things with the directory System. So my suggestion is making a child directory function. Example: childdir([directory]); that would be able to show all directories child directory by doing the following: <?php $childs = childdir("main"); echo $childs; ?> and it would echo all the child directories in that path. Would be great use to the new world of PHP theses days. But i think it should be a update for version 4.3.x and > Thanks for reading my Suggestion Email.
