Hello,
I was trying to add a note in the mail() documentation, but your site tells me:
Your IP is listed in one of the spammers lists we use, which aren't controlled by us. More
information is available at http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ip4r.ch?ip=87.17.49.83.
If the problem persists, please contact the webmaster.
I use dynamic IP from the main Italian Phone/Internet company TELECOM (www.aliceadsl.it), how can my
IP be listed as spammers?
Anyway this was the comment I wanted to add to the documentation (mail() function)
All mail sent using function mail() from a PHP module to @libero.it servers will be refused by those
servers.
To make sure the servers accept the mail you must use the mail function's 5th parameter (i.e.
"-r replyto@domain.com")
Example:
if you want to send an email to @libero.it servers use this:
$to = "toaddress@libero.it";
$from = "fromaddress@mydomain.com";
$MailHeaders = "From: " . $from . "\r\n";
$MailHeaders .= "Reply-To: " . $from . "\r\n";
$MailHeaders .= "X-Mailer: PHP/" . phpversion() . "\r\n";
mail($to, "hello", "hello world", $MailHeaders, "-r " . $from);
Hope it helps!
Bye!
