Hello,
I am using a dedicated server that is running a Linux 2.6.17-1.2142 server
using Apache 2.0.4 and the operating system is Fedora Core 4. I am trying to
connect PHP V5 with PostGreSQL V8.0 database.
I cannot connect locally to PostgreSQL from PHP.
I have changed the pg_hba.conf and postgres.conf configuration files and can
successfully connect from PHP to PostgreSQL remotely, but I cannot connect
locally (after I transferred the PHP based web page to the dedicated server,
I am not getting any error messages, just a blank screen).
I have modified the php.ini file to display error messages, but it did not
work even after rebooting the web server, so I think it might have something
to do with httpd.conf (the Apache configuration file), what do you think?
Do you have any suggestions or recommendations?
I am thinking of reinstalling PHP and PostGreSQL on the dedicated server, do
you have any recommendations on the steps to do that?
Any assistance would be well appreciated, thanks.
Cheers,
Andrew
