I can't add my note to http://ca.php.net/manual/add-note.php?sect=function.basename&redirect=http://ca.php.net/manual/en/function.basename.php because "[My] IP is listed in one of the spammers lists [you] use." Example: User accesses "/blah/foo.php?id=1", URL logged is "foo.php?id=1". This opens up the potential to spoof the logged URL: User accesses "/blah/foo.php?id=1/bar.php" They are viewing "foo.php" with the query string "id=1/bar.php".
