Re: [NEXCESS.NET] :: Software

We've setup the mirror at http://php-mirror.nexcess.net and you can CNAME to php-mirror.nexcess.net. The box will be rsyncing from 69.39.81.135 daily. Please assign the XX.php.net so I can get that setup in the Apache config. Thanks and glad we could help. Chris Philip Olson wrote:

Any word on this, still interested? On Mar 17, 2007, at 11:44 PM, Chris Wells wrote:

Philip, Sure, we'd be happy to help out. I'll get a server setup and get back with you early this coming week. Chris Philip Olson wrote:

Hello all, We (PHP.net) are in the process of setting up a few additional US mirrors and I'm wondering if Nexcess would be interested in such a venture. Since you seem to be interested in PHP I figure maybe you'd want to do this, to increase exposure, but I honestly don't know if the ~12 GB a day bandwidth (and server load) would be worth it to you nor do I know the size of your company. I'm about to be Internetless (on vacation) for eight days but wanted to send this email first. Please think it over and let me know.
