Hello, We would like to provide a polish mirror for php.net. Currently there are two mirrors in Poland, but one of them, pl2.php.net is fake. This mirror is placed in Austria instead of Poland:
I had already noticed this a while ago but it somehow slipped my mind. To make matters worse the maintainers address we have registered is bogus.
We can provide real server located in Poland connected to polish telecom. We are also providing Apache Software Fundation mirror for more than two years at url: http://apache.forall.pl/ Let us know weather we are welcome as a REAL second polish mirror of php.net.
I'll delete pl2.php.net from our registry in few minutes, clearing pl2 for you. Please have a look at http://php.net/mirroring and reply with the necessary information. -Hannes Country: Poland Address: pl2.php.net Administrator e-mail: hosting@forall.pl CNAME: php.forall.pl Local stats: no Company name: ForAll.pl - Hosting http://www.forall.pl/
I've registered the mirror with us and it is now pending sanity checks from our mirror-test-bot and will be activated probably within the hour (assuming all checks passed). Our mirror-test-bot runs its checks against all mirrors once an hour and will email you (registered maintainers mail) if it finds any problems (such as bad error handler or outdated content). There is no real need to register to this mailing list, most of the traffic is directed to the webmasters of php.net - and we will mail you if we receive bug report about your mirror. Feel free to put your company logo into backend/mirror.[gif|jpg|png] to be displayed on http://pl2.php.net. Thank you for your support to the project & welcome to the family! -Hannes
