SPFing Wrong Mail Host?

Just got a confirmation email along with the headers. Shouldn't the SPF be calculated from the originating email server? Looks like it is SPFing an intermediary forwarder. FYI: Here are the email headers PHP.net sent me showing their SPF findings: Return-Path: <LEwens@deliveryagent.com> Authentication-Results: pb1.pair.com header.from=LEwens@deliveryagent.com; sender-id=unknown Authentication-Results: pb1.pair.com smtp.mail=LEwens@deliveryagent.com; spf=unknown; sender-id=unknown Received-SPF: unknown (pb1.pair.com: domain deliveryagent.com does not designate 140.211.166.39 as permitted sender) X-PHP-List-Original-Sender: LEwens@deliveryagent.com X-Host-Fingerprint: 140.211.166.39 osu1.php.net Linux 2.4/2.6 Received: from [140.211.166.39] ([140.211.166.39:48905] helo=osu1.php.net) by pb1.pair.com (ecelerity 2.1.1.9-wez r(12769M)) with ESMTP id EA/43-17036-88A90664 for <php-mirrors@lists.php.net>; Fri, 01 Jun 2007 18:15:38 -0400 X-Host-Fingerprint: 63.81.152.133 unknown Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1 Received: from [63.81.152.133] ([63.81.152.133:21481] helo=mail.deliveryagent.com) by osu1.php.net (ecelerity 2.1.1.11-rc1 r(13363/13364M)) with ESMTP id D5/43-14491-E0C90664 for <webmaster@php.net>; Fri, 01 Jun 2007 15:22:07 -0700 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft Exchange V6.5 Content-class: urn:content-classes:message MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----_=_NextPart_001_01C7A49A.50C45934" Subject: Problems with php.net Search Results Date: Fri, 1 Jun 2007 15:15:08 -0700 Message-ID: <63D617B71D0D1D43B07E77EBC3C9C28A0162DC53@zeus.in.deliveryagent.com> X-MS-Has-Attach: X-MS-TNEF-Correlator: Thread-Topic: Problems with php.net Search Results thread-index: AcekmlAp/Nn8LT+oQKy8+CtE3ovHPg== From: "Louis Ewens" <LEwens@deliveryagent.com> To: <webmaster@php.net> Louis Ewens Sr. Director of Architecture and Technology Delivery Agent, Inc.
