Hi Mamcy
I am sorry but this is not a support forum, this mailing list is
dedicated to the development of the php.net website.
Please have a look at http://php.net/support for support.

Hi I have installed PHP 5.2.3 on my VM Ware server that already has IIS installed. But when I test the page, it does not show PHP script. Please tell me what is missing. I installed it as follows: 1. Downloaded php 5.2.3.zip from www.php.net in the C:/. 2. Changed the name to be saved as C:/php. 3. Copied the php.ini.recommended file to php.ini. 4. Created a PHPRC on the system by doing the following: Start - Control pannel - systems - Environment variables - New . Then typed under Variable name: PHPRC, and under variable value C:/php. Then clicked oK and rebooted the computer. 5. Edited the php.ini file by setting doc root to point to webserver: doct_root: C:\inetpub\wwwroot //IS/PWS. 6. Connect the extensin files i.e php_*dll.in php.ini file: extension_dir = C:/php5 7. Enabled extensions in php.ini by removing a ";" to become: extension = php_bz2.dll. 8. Connect browscap to point to the to: browscap = c:\winnt\system32\inetsrv\browncap.ini Then I tested it from this point in the IIS folder as follows: 1. Created a php page called timetest.php and saved in c\inetpub\wwwroot. 2. Then I tested it in the web browser by entering the following url: http://localhost/timetest.php. I only get an output of html and not for php. I will appreciate your help. Johanna Matsele Mobile: +27 (0) 72 998 7039 --------------------------------- Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha!
