SPAM

As required, I provided a legitimate e-mail address when I subscribed to the PHP.net news server, and use it when I post. I think this is rather ironic: "As a spam prevention measure, we require you to confirm your email address before the PHP mailing lists will accept your mail." since I now get spam in direct response to my newsgroup posts on the e-mail account I created expressly to meet your requirement. Who exactly are you protecting from SPAM? I'm not sure it is safe to give you my real name, so sign me John Doe.
