Not trying to start a war here. It was just a suggestion. And. Yes. I
did check out the mailing lists site and it warned about receiving a BOAT
LOAD of e-mails every day. I checked out the UG sites and most of them were
fronts for companies looking for business or selling products -- as I said
earlier there was one in Denver that was on the up and up. I checked out
all the doc pages even remotely related and there was "nada" on
"Configuration Path File" values that I could find. I really did do my
homework. I searched and searched and searched and searched on and off your
site for an answer -- for a couple of days now -- instead of getting my
website built. So, you see I too am busy. :o)
BTW, it seems after doing all that research that my issue is not really a
problem it is ... just "the way it is" with phpinfo(). Apparently, or so it
was reported to me from another site, C:\WINDOWS is hard-coded into the
phpinfo() function as the value for Configuration Path File and there is
simply no way of changing it. ... Would that be a bug? ... It certainly is
misleading when you're in the middle of setting up PHP on IIS 5.1 for the
first time ever. It leads one to suspecting something is broken when it
isn't.
As I said earlier, it really is a great site ... I just hope my "Forum
Dream" comes true. :o)
Take care.

Because we're all volunteers who devote as much time as we can,
but we're all pulled in a billion directions. And imagine the amount
of work that goes into moderating a *forum* in addition to the user
notes.
Besides, did you even look at the support page? We run several
mailing lists, and I'd recommend that you check out the
php-general@lists.php.net mailing list for your specific problem.
Then you could spend time constructively as opposed to complaining
about how you wish things were. ;-P
(P.S. - Despite the additional work, there have been several
discussions, as recent as the beginning of this week, of adding a
forum to the site. So keep your eyes peeled.)
