Thanks. I have filled out the form of waiting list using our official email address lug@ustc.edu.cn I notice that cn1.php.net have been deactivated for several months, and cn2.php.net occasionally respond with "502 Bad Gateway". Many PHP users around me have trouble downloading PHP releases because the download link redirects to a 502 page. As a university, we do not suffer so much from government supervision as described in http://news.php.net/php.mirrors/39825. For example, we are running http://ftp.cn.debian.org/ without trouble. Whether or not this inquiry is accepted, we are willing to contribute to the PHP community. Thanks again. -- Linux User Group University of Science and Technology of China Homepage: http://lug.ustc.edu.cn/ E-Mail: lug@ustc.edu.cn Bojie Li <bojieli@gmail.com> On Tue, Apr 30, 2013 at 1:21 AM, Daniel Brown <danbrown@php.net> wrote: > Thank you for your generous offer to provide service as an > official mirror for the PHP Project! > > At this time, we're already at the quota for mirrors in your > country as set forth in policy by the PHP Network Infrastructure Team. > However, we have been compiling a list of folks such as yourself who > are interested in donating server resources and bandwidth to provide a > regional mirror, and would like to add your name to this list for your > country. > > If you would like to be included on this list, please fill out the form at: > > http://php.parasane.net/mirrors/waitinglist.php > > Then, when one of the existing official mirrors is no longer able > to provide services, we will contact those from the waiting list in > order, and work with them to set up an official mirror for the PHP > Project. > > Thank you again for your offer, and I hope to be able to add your > name to the list! > > > On Mon, Apr 29, 2013 at 11:19 AM, Bojie Li <bojieli@gmail.com> wrote: >> Hi, >> >> We are from University of Science and Technology of China.
