Subject: Re: getting php projects from freshmeat
freshmeat II now has XML search output as well and as promised, you can filter for specific
categories like programming language. This is not fully useful at this time since a lot of projects
haven't been recategorized in the new category scheme.
The new URL is:
http://freshmeat.net/search-xml/?q=query&filter=categoryid1,categoryid2,categoryidn,
for example http://freshmeat.net/search-xml/?q=php&filter=183
(183 being the
category ID of Programming Languages :: PHP)
Have fun.
