this isn't any sort of nationalistic statement. much of the php documentation has been translated into czech. as one tiny example, the readdir function is documented (see http://www.php.net/manual/cs/function.readdir.php). there's actually a lot more translated than appears on the website, since there are people still actively translating it, and there were some problems last time that particular translation was generated for the site that caused it to only be partially generated. if you wish to begin a translation of the documentation into the slovak language, send a message to phpdoc@lists.php.net, and i'm sure the folks there will be glad to help you get started. (for what its worth, the use of flags to select languages is obviously a non-ideal solution. the new design for the website will be eliminating this usage in favor of simple text links.) jim
