To: PHP developers @ php.net
There is a question that I need to ask.
In the downloads section of php.net there are 2 versions or hybrids of php that can be downloaded. The smaller one is a version that includes auto configurations for IIS. I have been using the version that bundles all the extensions of php but am developing a certain script for an NT server running on IIS with the smaller version of php without the extensions. May I know if in that smaller version of php is there the php.ini? does it work like the php.ini that u are suppose to configure in the c:\windows\directory? can you manually load extensions by copying the dll and editing the ini file? Does that version of php support the direct load (dl) function?
The general idea is that I want to load an extension for php onto the NT server. may I know if there are any complications or impossibilities within this course of action?
Thank you very much
