How about having some 'reject' button/link on the bug pages? Just like with the notes: The sender gets a default mail with: read bugs do and don't, include sample, ask php-general first, etc. And the bug gets bogusfied automatically with a default comment if none is supplied. I think it'd be used alot :-) Jeroen ----- Original Message ----- From: <hholzgra@php.net> Newsgroups: php.dev To: <php-dev@lists.php.net> Sent: Tuesday, July 10, 2001 12:36 AM Subject: Bug #11988 Updated: irc_function > ID: 11988 > Updated by: hholzgra > Reported By: thilo_home@gmx.de > Old Status: Closed > Status: Bogus > Bug Type: Unknown/Other Function > Operating System: win 98se > PHP Version: 4.0.6 > New Comment: > > 1. please read the "dos & dont's" page next time > before posting a bug report > > we usually can't analyze problems like this > without some lines of sample code and the > exact error message you've got > > 2. the ircg extension depends on pieces of code > not really available/working in win32 environments > > i'll make this more clear in the documentation > > Previous Comments: > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > [2001-07-09 18:16:43] zimt@php.net > > ok, this is no real bug. > as his operating system is win 98se, i assume that he > uses precompiled versions, if not, he just didnt compile an ircg enabled version > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > [2001-07-09 17:50:48] thilo_home@gmx.de > > While trying to test the irc_* functions, a unsupported function was reported. But after downloading the latest version, 4.0.6 (binaries), the error happened again.
