when the news server was rebuilt, the articles in php.general got
renumbered (and there are significantly fewer of them than there were
before, because the old php3 list was split out into its own
php.version3 archival newsgroup). you may need to do something to
reset your newsreader's idea of what articles it has seen in the
php.general group.
