Hello! First of all, congrats on one of the best reference materials for PHP. I'm going to print the lot out and get it bound :) I noticed you had this in your "Tips and Tricks" section...
Shortcut URLs for the Manual 08-Mar-2001
You can go directly to PHP manual pages by using a URL such as: http://www.php.net/strlen.
and I was wondering how you have managed it on the server side... Is it as simple as having each function in a directory by its self (eg strlen), is there some Apache trickery (creating an alias comes to mind) or is it somehow done in PHP? The reason I ask, is I'd like to be able to have a list of pages for clients without having screeds of directories under my root directory... eg. www.myweb.com/client1 www.myweb.com/client2 www.myweb.com/client3 www.myweb.com/client4 all pointing to a script with an arg, for instance www.myweb.com/client.php?name=client1 Please tell me it's just something I don't know in PHP :) I hope I'm not barking up the wrong universe here... Cheers for your help in advance! Gav
