Hi, I want to know if are plan for developed PHP on Macintosh? I'm a young Programer (26 old years), I have something like that half of my live, on the backside of the keyboard ;-) I have more than 14 years woking on Macintosh, before that, I use a Apple IIe, II + and, a Radio Shak TRS-80, color computer I. I was programing on (Basic, and VisualBasic, C, Fortran, Cobol, Assembler, HTML, Perl, and PHP more recently. Back to reality, I am working on (www.loquesea.com) is a Big Web Site. We work on a Windows enviroment, We have 8 NT 4 Box on US, but the Main office are on Venezuela, We have a LAN with more than 50 iMac, 10 G3, 15 G4, and a Lot a Windows (98 & 2000) box. Because this Web Site have multiple Languajes. I have a Windows 2000 Box, that Have Apache, and PHP. On the side of the local DataBase is the MS SQL Server, But I love Macintosh. Then I install the Yellow Dog Linux ( a Linux for PowerPC), because I have 2 computers, the PC, and an iMac. On the iMac, I install the Yellow Dog and work good, the PHP and the Apache (the PHP is a Module) like than WebTen. My only question because I see, is if can I put to talk the iMac (under ODBC) with the Server (PC Windows 2000, Microsoft ODBC -> Microsoft SQL Server), exist a king of driver for talk the iMac with the ODBC on the PC or iMac talk directly with tghe SQL Server? Have the mod_php.so the funtions of odbc_connect? Thanks a lot, perdon me for my english I know is not very good :-) ___________________________________________ Just Another Happy iMac Owner. ___________________________________________ E-MAIL#1 mailto://jbianco@sa.omnes.net E-MAIL#2 mailto://yisu@loquesea.com ICQ Work/Ofic # 4792036 / nickname yisu ICQ Home/Casa #66097128 / nickname yisu WEB http://yisu.nom.ve Telefono/Phone Cellular. +58 (14) 3042346 Telef/Phone Ofic. +58 (2) 7631908 ext.113 (Ciudad/City) Caracas, Venezuela ___________________________________________ Macintosh - The Power to be your Best! ___________________________________________
