It seems we cannot understand each other.
A CNAME is an alias for the php mirror site,
so this is not correct for a CNAME:

The URL of the site, that hosts the mirror is the
URL of the hosting company (as we asked the name
in the previous step):

> http://php.unam.mx
> ftp://php.unam.mx/pub/php
So correctly your information is:
| - A hostname that we can use as a CNAME...
| php.unam.mx
|
| - The URL of the site that hosts the mirror.
| www.dgsca.unam.mx
This way I added this. So the address for your
new mirror will be http://mx2.php.net/ and http://www.mx2.php.net/
The DNS change will be made in a day or so, so please
be patient.
