PHP

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a final year student and I am working on a project developing a web site for my university and I am using HTML and PHP. Because I am not on the internet at my home I have to travel every day to university to be able to do my project. I would like to know if it is possible to set up my computer to act as a server so I can run PHP from my computer without being connecting to the internet. If I can would you please tell me what kind of software I would need and how would I configure my computer to do so. If I could do this it would save me about 2.5 to 3 hours a day which means more time to work on my project. Hope to hear from you soon, and that you for your time.
