I've recently converted my existing site (www.surreywap.co.uk) from basic
.htm pages, to a mostly overall php scritped site, which I found gave me a
lot more speed and ease to create with.
The site works fine, but before, where I had the line <LINK REL="SHORTCUT
ICON" href="icon.ico"> which brings up the nice little icon in a browser
location bar, since making the pages php, the icon doesn't appear.
I notice your pages are (quite unsurprisingly) php, and your icon appears ok,
is there a trick I'm missing, such as your use of external style sheets that
would sort this out?
Also, we are developing our wap site, which we can access if we put in the
complete url/folder/pagename, but need to know if there is a script in php
(or other if you know it) that will direct the browser - if it be a phone, to
the wap index.wml when the user trys surfing to our url.
If you can help me with any of these problems I would appreciate it.
Cheers
John
