Gabor,
A boundary condition or other unknown error is crashing all php web server
mirrors.
My mirror (br2.php.net) has stopped working, and looking at logs, I
discovered that the webserver is crashing, as below:
[Thu Jan 3 12:40:57 2002] [notice] child pid 3454 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)]
As other sites of my company are still working, I've started Investigating
what could be crashing only the mirror server. I have discovered that the
fgetcvs call on line 59 of index.php is crashing. I've changed to test to a
fgets/split pair, with the same buffer size (to test if could be memory),
and the server does not crashed.
To put the other mirrors up imediately, do the same I've done, comment the
fopen call on line 55 of index.php (which open the events.cvs) until we
discover what is going on.
//$fp = @fopen("backend/events.csv",'r');
These mirrors has the problem too:
ca.php.net
br.php.net
us2.php.net
But I presume more of them are down too. Webmasters, please check.
PS: I am currently using php 4.0.6.

Nelson Junior
