Hi! You can do this by configuring Apache to execute a script whenever a file is not found. The directive is named ErrorDocument. You can see the exact configuration at http://www.php.net/README.mirror Have fun, Mitja -----Original Message----- From: Adrian Hancock [mailto:alh@weasel.net] Sent: 28. januar 2002 19:33 To: webmaster@php.net Subject: How the PHP website works Dear PHP Webmaster, I would like to apologize for taking up your busy time with such a trivial question, but I have searched everywhere for the answer, and you are my last resort. (And I still feel like I might be asking the wrong person..) How do you do the URL forwarding thing with the PHP.net website? The one where if you go to "http://www.php.net/<whatever>" it automatically sends you to the search page, searching '<whatever>'? I cannot, for the life of me, figure this out. Is it an Apache feature, or is it a PHP feature? I run Apache/1.3.14 (Win32) PHP/4.0.6 at this time. Please reply if you have time. All I really need to know is what it's officially called, and/or where it's documented. Thank you in advance, Adrian Hancock <alh@weasel.net>
