In this case, the php-db list seems appropriate.

Subject: a problem, should be very happy for some help...
Hi!
I really enjoy the site php.net, that's the absolutely best reference site I ever seen...
I have a problem with my site and maybe you can help me, give me an advice how to solve it...
It's a community with about 50 000 members...
earlier it was written in ASP / MS SQL Server and now it's in PHP / MySQL...
when it is over about 60 persons online I get this error when trying open the DB with:
mysql_connect($host, $userid, $pass):
Warning: Can't create TCP/IP socket (55) in /usr/home/...inc.php on line 12
Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't create TCP/IP socket (55) in /usr/home/...inc.php on
line 12
The webserver and the DB server is separated from each other...
The operative system is FreeBSD.
Apache/1.3.19 (Unix) FrontPage/4.0.4.3 PHP/4.0.6
mysql: server version: 3.23.36
The page is on a webhost and the best thing is if I can solve it without consulting the web
hotel..
Best regards
Anton
