Webmaster, I have been looking at example forums that run the PHP software. One forum that I found suddenly bellied up and now the access message on the screen that I, as a visitor, see is this: Error getting forum data SELECT f.*, u.username, u.user_id, p.post_time FROM forums f LEFT JOIN posts p ON p.post_id = f.forum_last_post_id LEFT JOIN users u ON u.user_id = p.poster_id ORDER BY f.cat_id, f.forum_id I sent an email to the webmaster of said forum to see if this was a software handling issue. He hasn't responded and so I'm left stumped wondering if this is a problem with the software or the forum host and how he has it configured. Have you any idea as to what might cause your software to give visitors the above display message? Is this a bug in the software, an error in how he has the software set up, or what? He is using Version 1.4.2 of the software. -G __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Great stuff seeking new owners in Yahoo! Auctions! http://auctions.yahoo.com
